Do What You Want (Wallpaper Version) on YouTube & TRL
The new OK Go video debuted yesterday on MTV's TRL with all-day premieres on MTVu and MTV Hits. That was pretty awesome. But like beauty and grace, the flavor of that awesomeness will fade with time, unless you vote for it on TRL many, many times. (Voting for beauty and grace is strictly optional).

In the meantime watch DWYW (PV) right here:

HOLY FACKING CRAP!!!

Not only am I impressed and amazed, I am stupefied by the candid awesomeosity of that video.

And I also have the sudden urge to buy a wallpaper suit and do backflips on a pogo stick, breakdance, and do saumersaults.

BUT

You know what I DID miss? You know what the LAST video had that this one DID NOT have?

The ridiculously schway camera angles. I miss the skitzophrenic camera angles. Those were the best. If this video had them, I would have squealed with glee, although I will admit that this video made me guffaw with delighted approval.

Good job guys.
A grammy and a kick ass video.
Two birds with one stone.
Or one bird with two stones, if we're going to get all techincal here.

PEACE!!!

This new video is awesome. It made me laugh. And laughter is always a good thing.

The creativity of OK Go is so amazing that they can have two videos so completely different for the same wonderful song.

OK Go videos deserve a category of their own. They make you think 'I could do that!' while simultaneously making you think 'I would never come up with that!' Absoltuely terrific!

Is everyone wearing actual wallpaper, or is it fabric?

For Damian- this is nerdy but I know you...so what's up.
I heard you won a grammy and thought I'd say congrats. That's big time. I'm Katie G's best friend...I stayed with you in Chicago and we Christmas caroled in Kansas. I live in LA now and I'm coming to your Gibson show. Maybe you sign some cd covers? Hope I see you...

The video reminds me of those "find the mystery pictures" I use to stare at in the early 90s. I never could see the hidden picture.

What I want to know is how many yards of material it took to make the video o_o

The drumline in the beginning got me excited cause I was definitely in the drumline in my school's marching band. ;)

This video is awesomeness, wrapped in awesomeness, and dipped in a steaming pot of yet more awesomeness. I heart it very much.

as much as i love this band, i just gotta ask... how many videos does one song need?!?! good lord!

They're kidding, right? I have to say that I love OK Go. I have absolutely loved the majority of the videos I have seen from them. I think they are very inventive, hilarious and talented people.

But man, I hated this video. Give me the other (two!) for this song anytime.

How lucky are we, the OK Go fans. Three different videos for the same song. We don't have to choose. Just enjoy whatever you like.

This isn't my favorite video either. The costumes are very clever, and the concept is cute, but the video looks very cgi'ed, which is the opposite of what I have come to expect from OK Go. Still my favorite band, though, and truly deserving of a Grammy -- not just for the treadmill video, but for your songwriting and performance energy and just for being all-around good clean fun-loving guys keeping rock alive. Keep up the good work.

Kisses,
DWC
